This is the third time Jesus repeats that he will be rejected, killed, and rise again but the disciples give no adequate response. Instead, James and John come forward to ask if they can sit on his right and on his left in glory. what were they thinking? They claim to be able but do we understand that discipleship has nothing to do with ability?
