This is a beloved story for children but adults need to listen to it as well. It is a "Resistance" story. We find many resistance stories in Scripture because much of the Bible was written in exile. To have a resistance story, you must have exile, oppression, and an empire. We as followers of Jesus Christ must understand who we are called to be and who we being at present.
