Job had accused God of everything from making a mistake to divine mismanagement. He demanded hi day in God's court even though his friends told him God would not show up. They were wrong.

Then Job declares his agony, his three friends respond with speeches that begin trying to unsuccessfully comfort him and end with accusing him of being so guilty he is deserving of all suffering he is experiencing. Job refuses to accept their version of the truth and calls for God to come forward for Job's day in court.
