A serious study of Revelation often requires us to put aside what culture has taught us about the book and its imagery and discover the emphasis for ourselves. The central figure is not the anti-christ or the beasts, or even Armageddon, but the slain lamb that represents the sacrificial love of God. The story doesn't end on a battlefield but in a garden. We do not get raptured up, God and heaven come down to us.
